Had a co-worker come up to me this morning and asked if I was going to watch the Iowa women play?

I said…. when do they play next? She said …. tonight…. and looked at me like “how do you not know that?”.

Then I asked who they played…. and again…. got the look like “are you stupid?”.

Then I asked if it was a home game? At this point I think they were just getting mad at me.

Hey…. I’m a Cyclone fan, and besides it’s not that important to the vast majority of people in this country. We are not all required to follow the almighty CC!! Just stop it!

I should have asked them last Friday if they were going to watch Haliburton start in the NBA All-Star game? After all, I believe it’s something that no other player from ISU, Iowa, UNI, or Drake has EVER accomplished before!!

But I don’t expect Iowa fans to give a s**t about it…. that’s the difference.
