Time for a Real Discussion About Caitlin Clark

Because she's extra special and needs to get off the court before all her teammates. Nobody is going to harm her teammates because they are 'nobody'... but she's Caitlin Clark! I mean... she's practically Michael Jordan according to Iowa fans.

I get that she wanted to get off the court but yeah in that situation sticking together with your teammates and making sure everyone is able to get off the court safely is the route to go. Running across the floor was probably not the smartest decision. Either way, watching the IMFBA (Iowa Media Fan Boys Association) was some next level funny sh!t. Eickholt made himself look like a real Munson.

Stop listening to that tool. I did, years ago. He has zero to say, he just isn't really that bright. But he makes up for it by being inarticulate as well.

I am stunned he is still on the air, but then, it is Linn county radio, so its probably hard to find anyone to work for $15 an hour to do it.
My Hawk friends even think he's an idiot. I'm not sure how to take that, however.

I don't seem to remember any Iowa media demanding that the Iowa fans who threw full beer cans in Kinnick to be hunted down and arrested for assault? Oh wait... they only get upset when these things happen to Iowa on the road... not when it happens to other teams in Kinnick or Carver.

Reminds me of the whole band thing. Whine about Iowa band members getting mistreated at ISU when ISU band members have put up with that in Kinnick for ages... and have not said a thing. My son was in the ISU band years and years ago... and said Iowa fans would try to trip ISU band members going down the steps in Kinnick while holding their instruments. Not to mention everything that got thrown at them. He said it was a horrible experience and most of the band did not want to make that trip.

I'm sure it's the same way for the Iowa band too... the only difference is they whined and cried about it and made it a huge deal, and tried to paint ISU in a negative light nationally (as they like to do... theft in Iowa locker room).
Don't forget about the Pemsl mugging in Cyclone Alley! Man that 150 pound kid did a number on Cordell.

I don't have a daughter in AAU basketball. Is the CC level flopping regular, like it is on the boy's side?

Boys grew up watching LeBron, other NBA stars, and Euro soccer players flop... I hope CC doesn't have a similar effect. She's just soooo talented that her behavior becomes a distraction to her GREAT play!

Originaly when I saw the clip I thought the fan hit her intentionally. But once I could actually see it on my own phone the person I thought was the fan was CC. So was she intentionally trying to hit the fan and make a scene?
From the film clip from the backboard camera, it sure looks like the fan tries to avoid contact, while CC looks for the contract, extends the arms afterwards, then does an extravagant pirouette including flailing arms to draw attention to her fall.

Absolute drama queen. Any goodwill she built up last year is gone for those that avoid the CC kool-aid. Imagine charging into a fan because you lost a game and still need to be the center of attention.

They did not need to make contact, maybe a brush. Caitlin lost and needed attention focused on her somehow so she put her arms out, spun around to the floor and got carried to the locker room. Give me a break. Having said that, there needs to be some set protocol for rushing the court. Each player should have an assigned guard or something.
Or they could leave walking together as a team, like her teammates were doing. Also, CC has a guard but she ran away from her cop escort. You can see him come up behind after the collision.

I don't know if it's regular but it happens. McMahon from Ohio State spent more time on the ground than on her feet.
