Most guys have said he is very friendly - I've never heard that he wouldn't talk I guess.

He and Gary Woodland were talking the whole final round in the PGA. You are correct that he has changed and he is way more talkative now, but I think players liked him before too.

Maybe if they were playing for their own money and had to finish a beer a hole I'd watch.
Otherwise, not so much.
 
Don’t think golfing is the right sport for this. Basketball on the other hand....LeBron vs KD one on one would get me intrigued.
 
Pass. If I need something boring to fall asleep to on Black Friday afternoon I can just watch the Iowa Nebraska game for free.

This is like going to a reunion concert when the band should have did the reunion 15 years ago. Like Van Halen with Roth. Like, Ok I might go, wait, I have to pay for it? Im good.

Sounds like Tiger's caddy might be a little funny. He was asking Woodland's caddy how the fairways were when Tiger was missing all of them.
 
Two people golfing is very boring. I remember when the aired the Duval vs. Tiger match in the late 90s and it was boring as hell to watch. Golf is fun when they have non stop action with guys all over the course ready to hit their next shot. It isn't so much fun when there are only two guys golfing and there are long periods of time in between shots.

I'm not even remotely interested.

I thought when the talk started on this whole thing, they were putting up their own money. I wouldn't even care if they took some of the earnings on top of that. I wanted to see them really have some skin in the game.

That is great then. Maybe he got humbled some. He can be a great ambassador for the game, especially since Arnold has passed. Jack never really filled that role it seemed and we have kinda been missing once since Arnold passing.

I think if you read the book that just came out about him found out what he grew up around and how big of a piece of **** his dad was, there's an odd respect for him even making it. People growing up in that environment don't make it, much less become the greatest of all time, especially in golf. Sean O'hair comes to mind. The guy was extremely ****** up by his dad and it affected him socially for almost his entire life.
