Funny story- A new client contacted me last tax season to do his business tax and organize his quickbooks. In cleaning up his quickbooks I saw multiple subscriptions a month to dating sites. Didn't think nothing of it until I met his wife. Fast forward to this tax season and they ask me if their marriage counseling is a deductible medical expense. lol

So I finally caved and watched this. What a **** show. Joe is an awful person in his own right but frankly I feel bad for him. Someone should have gotten him help a long time ago. I agree with what they said at the end. I think Joe originally got into it for good reasons but that got so screwed up by the end.


Frankly I also found the whole thing disturbing from an animal rights aspect. Even if you don’t like the idea of the zoos or anything the amount of money and resources spent on a huge pissing match was disgusting. The world would have been much better off if that went towards helping the animals.

Joe was hosed on the murder charges, the animal charges though? Those would have been tough to beat.

I think there is a decent chance he wins an appeal on the murder charges. That may or may not change his current living situation, but I don't see how that one sticks.

If I remember right, he basically admitted to those animal charges. But yeah, not sure how those murder for hire charges stick.
