Look for a one-way on the way down, still under 300. Use miles for the way back, still have time to book a ticket for Monday.

This. I have a buddy in Austin and was going to fly down to stay the weekend and go to the games...tickets are 900 bucks. ouch

Not much. DSM and KCI were very expensive. Did a search on Matrix - ITA Software of nearby airports. Best bet within 300 miles was STL for $381.

Tickets from ISU Ath Dept are for the single session that ISU is in. If ISU advances, you are then charged also for the next session.

Isu has very limited tickets. Unless you are a big donor, u won't get them. Better off go to NCAA.com/tickets to purchase them. Full sessions Friday and Sunday will cost you around $270/ticket or something like that.
