This is probably the dumbest argument one could make for a band/song for entrance music. Who the heck cares that they are from Iowa? What does being from Iowa add to the gameday experience?

Our main donor pool is 40-45 year old dudes that rocked out to ACDC in the 90s while playing high school football? I highly doubt it. Our biggest donor pool is 60+ and probably not ACDC fans at all.

I think everyone needs to see the whole production tomorrow night before they immediately say it is lame. Have you guys seen the video content and production they have been putting out? It is incredible. I think the song with all of the other production that will be going into it, will be night and day different than the lame CPR days.

I agree that I want to see the whole production before rushing to judgement. Considering they are using pyrotechnics and just seeing some of the videos they have put out so far on social media, this still has the potential to be a really cool entrance.

I have seen two futures. One where MC is successful. Fans reaction: if only we had "insert song here" as the entrance song we could have won "X amount" of games.

For the record, my choice would be this song. However, it would take a decent amount of editing to make it fit well.

 
15 pages in and we're still not even sure that this is the choice? I vote for waiting to complain like babies until after it plays tomorrow at 6:50 or so. Deal?
 
ACDC will be 10x better than what we've had for the last few years. People have a hard enough time clapping in unison, let's not complicate it even more with a death metal anthem -- save that for the hype video before they come out.

So our criteria for entrance music:

- Something written during the players' lifetimes
- Rap or Hip-Hop Genre
- Not a song that will pump up the crowd
- Not a song that will pump up the players
- Not a song that is used by any other school

Our choice must be "Day 'n' Nite" by Kid Cudi, it fits all those criteria perfectly!

i won't believe it's thunderstruck until confirmed by nearly double digit sources.
 
I'm hearing from my source that it may be Kajagoogoo "Too shy shy". That song will bring hand clapping and hysteria.
It has been way too long since our last game (as can be seen by this thread). However this thing goes, GO CLONES!

Can you imagine a packed house, smell of BBQ in the air, fireworks...and then the mellow musical stylings of the Doors
