Three guard lineup next year?

He is young...but looked good in stretches in that Summer league in '09. Can really get up on Offensive rebounds and make people pay with a big putback dunk. Again though, he was playing Drake guys....random Iowa players...etc.

He did remind me of Rashon though.

Don't know...Just left a bad impression, when I see him puking during practice and jacking around. I realize he is red shirting, but you're still expected to work hard.

Ya, jacking around is uncalled for. Puking indicates to me that he wasn't ready coming in. My guess is that that was at the beginning of the practice season?

That is true...I guess if he was a little more serious about his approach I would be excited to see what he is capable of.
 
If Gilstrap does come back, I wouldn't expect Oliver to see the floor much anyways, because I would assume he would be behind Ejim on the depth chart. Is that a safe assumption, KG?

Also KG, what kind of lineup do you expect next year?

It's bad that I laughed at this.

The thing is, this group could be a ton of fun to watch and could be tough. They've shown the can be tough when they want to be. But then will play softer than a warm stick of butter.

Won't matter who we play or how many guards we play until this team/program stops being so bipolar.

I love Ejim's game...Big fan.

Gilstrap or Ejim starting at the 3.

Phillips, Colvin, DG, Christophersen...not sure who is going to come out of that for the guards...I would say Phillips, but he just broke his hand. If you made me guess...probably Colvin at point and Phillips at the 2. Phillips can play both guard spots.

Wilkins(Brackins) and Ham.

I have heard oliver is not living up to his hype at all. So i doubt he is in the mix next year.

But i do agree that we need a new coach.

Ham, Dendy, Vanderbeken, Wilkins(Brackins), Railey...If it was my decision, I would take Wilkins no matter what. He is going to have to sit out a few games...Similar to Lucca deal...Shouldn't be the whole year, but who knows.

what hype are you refering too, because he was virtually unrecruited and i havent exactly heard the fanbase talking him up.

is he even playing anywhere right now? i read a few recruiting articles on him out of high school and it sounded like he really lit it up late in the process, signed with bradley i think, and then never went anywhere to play? or is he actually playing for a juco right now, and if so, wouldn't that count as him sitting out?

He was(is) sitting out...Hasn't played much, so that worries me a little. Not sure how it all works...would have to sit out a few games at ISU too.
 
Apparently I don't follow basketball as much as I thought. Who the hell is Wilkins?
 
NCAA has already ruled on Wilkins, would have to sit out first five games. No real baggage character wise, just the NJCAA being stupid.
