Thoughts on Loofahs

I always called the natural course sponge thing a loofah, but never the synthetic puffy thing. Mrs. Velo calls it a poof. She hangs one in the shower for me and I use it because I use less soap with it. I never feel the need to prove my manhood in the shower. Well maybe once in a while... ;)

You do this by peeing in the shower.

This is what I use. I've always called it a loofah, just made of plastics and such. I don't think these harbor near the amount of bacteria as the sponge ones. Sponges, by nature, are disgusting.

Thread reminds me that I do feel a little old fashioned when I shop the diminishing shelf space allocated to soap bars. Still use old LifeBuoy bars as I have since forever. Whenever I use shower gels it seems like I am wasting a lot. Have made the concession, as a good host, to put gel in the guest shower though.

Also, life would be simpler if we were big alpha apes. We won't need to worry about showering, hair care, shaving etc. We would have the lower ranking members of our troop to groom us at our convenience.

I bet the ratio of washcloth users to cargo short wearers is incredibly high.

Get with the times. Team loofa through and through. Washcloths are annoying AF and I’m not sure why anyone that has used both, would ever use a washcloth on a regular basis ever again.

For those that just put it in your hand, gross. Y’all need to actually scrub the stank off.

Just give her $20 to leave then. Problem solved.

Or maybe you just have more stank than the rest of us.

I tried a loofah once. It’s like scrubbing your entire body with sandpaper. I’ll forgo the exfoliating.

Also would like to add that I approve of the Bellelily add that popped up in this thread.

First off, I use a loofah. Exfoliates dead skin, uses less shower gel, and doesn't require to be washed in a washing machine.

Secondly: Think about the last part of your body you wash. Now thinkg of the first part of your body you wash next time. Do you think your loofah or washcloth forget in a day?

Ummm yes. It's a known fact. Towels and wash cloths reset every evening.

I guess I'm an animal though since I'm team "hand"
