mom of one of the helpers in another thread said the mops were soaked so they switched to towels.
So, if Bailey or Bowman don't play today, do we assume they might be redshirt candidates? I haven't heard coach address that, yet.
CJL said on the post game interview that they are talking to some freshman about the redshirt option.........watching the interview I REALLY think CJL wants to be running a 5-1 but neither harris or horner can do it........it will interesting to see what happens with remi................I really want to see us shake this slow start issue....seams to be something that we couldn't shake last year
Great how we have so many Iowans on the team that can really contribute. 10 out of 17 are Iowans. We could put out a rotation of all-Iowans:

this would be my suspicion as well, that she wants a 5-1. My guess is the Hillegass (sp?) will RS with as strong as we are looking on defense. We don't want to waste of year of Remi on the bench so they'll need to decide that before long.
Think I want to see who plays tonight before I more strongly guess at who will RS. Since we are at least going 4 sets and then playing 3 hours later, we may see different faces with fatigue on those playing last night and right now. Did Alexis play first set? I wondered if they were saving her for tonight.
With Bowman a setter and Bailey a RS, maybe Christy is starting out looking at the 6-2 before making a decision on how strong it can be for the season. If she is satisfied with it, Remi redshirts and gets four years at setter with a year tutelage on the practice team. Bailey then becomes the second right side in the 6-2. if she decides they need to go with the 5-1 and use Remi now, then Bailey redshirts.
BTW, this game is a bit like last night. The other team comes out with a plan and fire when it works in the first set. CJL makes the adjustments and Cyclones roll.

What happened? I left in the 4th to do yard stuff and the stats are now locked up at the 3rd set.
Edit: Never mind, found it. We won that set, wow!

Tory Knuth's serving was what did it. There were two aces plus a barely handled serve that turned into another point.
Is Marquette that good, or are we not as good as I thought or just playing really poorly? The over passes are atrocious.
I think we are tired and still finding our rhythm. Lot of mental mistakes. And Marquette is pretty decent looking.
