This won't help ISU basketball recruiting

So based on Title IX requirements, I assume their women's team has similar accommodations?

But seriously, the NCAA needs to close some of these loopholes. It at very least ***** all over the spirit of the rules by having 17 "normal" students living there. I'm sure those 17 students won't end up being the players 'handlers'.

It's nice, but I always thought that the 5 star athletes dorms springing up at various rich schools were even more luxurious.

Maybe I've already become too jaded, but that didn't make my jaw drop. What's the main difference between that and what we have? Just the fact it's not connected?

Or tutors.

Well we haven't really taken a top recruit from KU yet so I guess this really doesnt hurt us too much more. How long before every blueblood in football and basketball starts building these?

This really helps the coaches keep an eye on the players. Coach Hoiberg and the Ames Police probably wouldn't have been called for noise and other violations if BDJ had lived in a place like this.

So, if we add on a players dorms (wbb and mbb) to the practice building. . . .

We could have something like that if our athletic department only cared about men's basketball. Thankfully, Pollard supports all our sports. I can't imagine the coaches of their other sports are too happy.

Love or hate Pollard, he has improved the facilities across the board, in bout every sport, not just basketball and football.

Iowa is doing the same thing, but not just for basket ball and spending about 10x the $$$.
