Final four or bust for me. We return a healthy Georges, Naz, Hogue on the glass, Matty Buckets, and MM. The bench bigs will also be very deep with Edozie's experience and leadership as well as the big time 7 footer we brought in from Greece. Also from what I've heard about Clay Custer, he is the next Kirk Hinrich and John Havlicek. Plus Gibson was sub-par in my opinion, so not a big loss.

So with Georges as a Big 12 player of the year candidate, the cold blooded killer in the clutch (Naz), and Clay's playmaking ability replacing Kane. Unless hit with a freak injury like last postseason, there is no excuse we don't win the Big 12 and at least advance to the final 4. Is it winter yet?

"Or bust"? We just had our first Sweet Sixteen in 14 years and now we won't be happy with another one? Or an Elite Eight? I think this team can win it all if the ball bounces the right way, but I think saying "Final Four or bust" is going way too far too fast at this point in time.

The OP has either been an excellent troll or stoned on Kool-Aid.
He had the football season at a very dominant 8-4, crushing everyone but OU, OSU, Texas, and Baylor. Each of those teams beat us by a TD or less in his prediction.

This is a really special approach right here. I can only assume he's setting up for spectacular meltdowns or troll sessions later on.

Reading the post more closely, that's gotta be a troll right? Doesn't even mention any of the incoming transfers as guys who will make a difference and says that there's no excuse not to win theBig 12.

Mentions Edozie, Custer and the Greek as reasons for excitement but not McKay, Nader and BDJ.

I'm thinking troll or he gets all his info from the register

....And Bryce Dejean-Jones is so freakishly unstoppable that his talent leaves you at a loss for words, which is why you couldn't even bring yourself to mention the addition of a player of his caliber to this roster.

P.S. For those wondering if OP is a world-class troll or not, I must mention that I'm from a town mere miles from Bode (girlfriend's family on her mother's side is also from Bode), and I have yet to meet one legitimate Cyclone fan from there. Plenty of Tavern Hawks, tho (although Bode is about 85 or 90 miles from Ames, yet a solid 4 hours from Iowa City.) Personally, I'd put the odds of this guy being a bonafide troll of the highest order at somewhere between 75-90%.

Same guy who says we are going to be 8-4 in football.

So time to make a change if no Final Four?
