Once again, 8-12 in the Big 10, thats 4 games under .500, best out of conference win was Cincinnati who lost to Iowa, only 2 of their 8 wins in the conference were against teams that actually made the tourney. According to your Barttorvick bible their best conference win was against an NIT team. They were also the lowest seeded Big 10 team to make the tourney since Michigan in 2016.

Quit trying to justify a horrible basketball team.

They weren't a great team, but they weren't horrible. And they wouldn't have won if they weren't allowed to beat up our guys. When big lugs like that get to push people around with no regulation, it's tough to deal with.

I don't hate Prohm so dont go accusing someone of something you are clueless about. I dont know anybody that has actually said they "hate" him.

What I've been saying for a few years and other people are starting to notice is that him and his coaching staff just aren't getting the results here in relation to the talent level they are bringing in.

IMO Prohm has been solid, but his building of a roster is behind Hoiberg. In some ways Hoiberg fortunate that most of his stud recruits stuck around 4 years- Morris, Long, Niang, Thomas. Whereas Prohms elite guys Wigginton, Horton-Tucker, Lard and Hallburton as a group will play 7 years at ISU.

Also Prohms teams seem to lack some of the edge/nastiness that Fred recruited- guys like Hogue and Kane.

Otherwise I think Prohm is in the mold of Johnny and Fred. Teams that win because they outscore vs. out defend the opponent. Floyd won because his teams would out defend opponent's. Larry was great because his teams could win by outscore or out defend opponent's. Plus they played with an edge.
