This is why Prohm must go........

This season isn't over. And have you ever met this guy?

We were 0/6 when I was on campus in Ames.

Even our current level of prosperity, as mediocre or unsatisfying as you seem to think it is, is far from guaranteed. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Please don't use the Iowa-Lickliter excuse to justify mediocre performance. Just because things are better than the worst they've ever been doesn't mean things are good.

Oh idk. Won a Big 12 tournament title and got a 6 seed to the NCAA tournament, a tournament that is unpredictable and if you don't play well you'll lose, like Fred's team his last year that lost to a much worse UAB squad?
If 2018-19 is a Prohm peak year, the fact you need to compare it to the low point of the previous staff, exemplifies why some are doubting the current staff. It's never a great sign in needing to compare the work of the current staff to the ending of the previous one, a time in which the head coach had quit.

On the other hand, if we follow-up last year with another tournament berth this season, and a promising roster for next, things are looking okay.

He won a meaningless tournament and lost in the one that matters immediately after that to a terrible Ohio State team. Seriously, what makes you think the program is in good shape?

Won a meaningless tournament...give me a break. It wasn’t meaningless to the fans or Kansas State or Kansas. It you want to discuss the February swoon then go at it. But discarding the Big 12 tournament and measuring a season by a Thursday/Friday in March is ridiculous. Doesn’t matter who the coach is.

Haha, everybody is telling me I can't discard the Big 12 tournament, but then they discard the entire rest of the season outside of that and rub the Big 12 tournament in my face. Which is it?

I don't think this year is a peak year at all.. We lost almost all of our scoring and are replacing it with brand new faces. Our only bench players are freshman and sophomores and 3 of our starters didn't play a minute at ISU last year. Two of those starters are also sophomores.

It was his THIRD year. He had plenty of time to fix that.

I know it was his third year. I literally just said it.

So are you saying he created the problem or that he had plenty of time to fix somebody else's problem?

You can be mad, like every single one of us are, that we lost to Ohio State last year.. But to say Ohio State was a terrible team (false), and then blanket the entire season under that one game that we lost by 3 in is just wrong.

Okay, then let's not say that him winning the Big 12 tournament covers up the shortcomings over the rest of his tenure also.
