This is Steve Prohm’s program. Period.

The defense was pretty good today. KState really struggled with the shot clock.
Our guards were hanging around the 3pt line with their backs to the rim too much tonight to get offense going. We seemed flat and sloppy tonight. I’m not jumping to conclusions yet on any coach or player, I’m going to stay optimistic that we can get it going again.

Prohm hasn't found the right screws to turn with this team early in conference play. His track record so far says ISU will improve over the course of the season.

Every team s different. Whatever means Prohm is using to motivate these guys is not paying rewards at the moment.

What we learned today was that as Shayok goes, so goes the team. We don’t have any players capable of filling the gap if Shayok isn’t the leading scorer and/or is having a subpar game. The team looked tired to me while appearing to play without passion and/or leadership for at least 30 minutes of that 40 minute game. One thing that sticks in my craw is the halfhearted free throw efforts and undeniably bad body language exhibited by some of our players. After reviewing the game on tape, I found it interesting that the commentators suggested ISU home games must be handled like an epic event in terms of effort, energy, planning and play. Basically, a winner never allows himself or his team to get beat at home! No one every condemns a team or player that leaves it all out on the floor. Yes, the referees made a number of inconsistent and bad calls, but this loss was all on the players and coaches. That said, Conditt’s play was absolutely a breath of fresh air!

Not weighing in either way, but if a good part of the fans can't tell if he's good by now....

Then maybe there's a problem. Or we can go all ISU and just blame the refs for everything. Whatever makes us feel good
To be fair, CF is about the worst place to get opinions on coaching. Most of CF thought Scott Drew was a hapless moron while this place was full of idiots that thought Trent Johnson was a really good coach.
