This is a Final Four team

Last night at BU and our previous game at WVU tells me that this team has everything you need to make a run to the Final Four. We are talented and deep. We have an unflappable and focused coach. We do not have to have any certain player "on" his game to compete with high caliber opponents on the road. We can find success against different styles of play in multiple ways. Our team is mentally tough, focused, and confident.

We are not playing our best basketball right now but the great thing is...it's JANUARY! We want to be playing our best ball in MARCH and APRIL. I anticipate that we may lose again in conference play...the league is just so tough. But you will never see the kind of debacle from this team like you saw with last year's squad in Morgantown.

i am looking forward to being in Indianapolis April 4-6.
 
We'd be a final four team right now if the final four included about 20 teams.
 
Um...no. No where near a final four team. Guess you haven't watch Kentucky, Duke, Louisville etc...
 
I think it's possible we could go deep this March, but some issues now in January tell me we have some growing to do yet.

This team has been viewed with POTENTIAL goggles by us fans and the media all season.

It's now Mid-January, it's now time to put on the ACTUAL glasses and look at this team.

Potential is no limits for this team.

Actual is we need to grow up and start being consistent
 
It's all about being hot. Like last year we got hot at the right time and won the big 12 tourney, then went to the sweet 16. Anything can happen.
 
Yes, it is still early and the team still has work that it needs to do but some of you just have to be Debbie Downers all the time. We could probably go undefeated and win the National Championship and several posters would still whine and complain about the team/certain players.
 
we're not consistent enough to be considered a F4 team right now. We need to shore up some defensive issues and play ball the entire game. It was evident last night that when we WANTED to pressure and be more aggressive, things began to work. Not sure why it took us so long.

I think we have potential to be a deep tourney team but if we aren't careful, these little flashes could cost us a positive seed and we'd end up at home quickly.

You mean watch Duke lose by 16 at home to an unranked team and Kentucky scrape by in overtime wins against unranked teams? Those guys are final four teams and have the same cold nights that we do, albeit they usually overcome those cold nights and win regardless, which we have at least shown an ability to do
 
We sure have the potential to beat anyone when we're hot, as previously posted March is all about getting on a streak.
