Things have changed

Remember when Missouri thought they had hit the lottery with the move to the SEC?

Here I thought Nebraska and Iowa had the most delusional bunch of dirtheads for fans. After a quick glance on the comments, I'd estimate their views as:

- Campbell will have better opportunities than Mizzou - 5%
- I'd like for us to hire Campbell, but we shouldn't pay that buyout - 5%
- We should hire Campbell if we don't think we can get someone better. We know he'd be interested, so we may as well reach out - 50%
- Why would we settle for Campbell? Surely we can land someone better than that - 40%

A whole lot of stupid in there. Then again I don’t think there is a single intelligent Missouri fan. Don’t play defense in Big 12? I didn’t see much defense for Missouri last year against a 6-6 Texas team, who had a bottom of the Big 12 level offense.

"the SEC isn't the Big12

the reason teams in Big12 are always ripe for upsets, is because they play no defense, so if you make 3-4 stops in a game you can win.

When teams play no defense, you are always ripe for an upset."

I get a lot of points are scored in the Big 12, but how come no one talks about Ohio State letting up 49 points to Purdue?

Also, no one seems to want to talk about yards per play either.
