These officials

Nader's travel, Nader's charge, and the one handed "jump ball" call were the only calls I legitimately thought were worthy of as much criticism as they got. The others were just 50/50 calls that normally go either way it just seemed like they didn't last night. What basketball (and sports in general) NEED to do as soon as possible, is make officials responsible for their calls. Make them answer questions. Officiating and being a weatherman are the only two jobs I can think of where you don't have to be right or can do your job completely wrong and not be fired

And do you know why that is?

Because there is absolutely no such thing as a replacement that can step in and get every call or every weather report right, or actually, even close to getting them all right.

Burton's phantom travel?
Foul on Monte before contact?
Niangs third foul with no contact?

I get calls are sometimes made or not made in a game that could go either way. If fact, I never had an issue with officiating till around the WVU game at home and it seemed since then, ISU has gotten a raw deal just about every game.
On the other side, I do feel like ISU got some important favorable calls against Iowa at home.

Oh my goodness! I was so over the game by now until seeing this. I was hoping it was just my bias showing since I was up in the rafters at the game and surely I couldn't be criticizing any calls from that far away. But obviously, Miles Simon not only questioned but disagreed with each of those calls and most by Eades. Does the big12 office that sees these things take into account the analysts/announcers opinions? Nah....I know better.

Also, Georges did give him the frustration look (that most players do) on the touch foul on Cousin's shot later in the 2nd half, but watching that replay, how in the heck did he keep his composure on that charge call when posting up vs. Buddy? Most players probably would have protested or reacted negatively, but Georges kept his cool. Kudos to him.

Honestly, I think sometimes Eades calls dumb ******** fouls on Georges just to see if he can get a reaction out of him so he can throw a T on him. I'm glad Georges doesn't give him that. Some of the fouls we've seen Eades call on Georges are just so ridiculous that they defy any other logical explanation.

I'm sure that our athletic department gives compilations of these calls to the Big 12 head of officials to point out what needs further review, but I still feel like our AD needs to get much more forceful about it. Georges is now done and out of Eades' sights, but he'll find a new guy on our team to torment soon enough. I can't remember in recent history any of our guys being targeted for ticky tack nonsense as much as Georges has, especially a player as high of caliber as he is.

For a star player and such a great person, Georges gets absolutely no love from the officials. I've never seen a player of his caliber get treated how he gets treated.

This Kansas team sent home by an 8 seed. Are you nuts?

Who knows? Recent history shows us that a 1 seed Kansas and a 2 seed Kansas get sent home in the second round. I wouldn't bet against it.

I know KU would probably raise a stink, but is there any way to blackball an official from a conference, or at least specific teams games? This dude sucks *** at his job. I read online he has sort of been blackballed from SEC games.
