I just checked my customized lineup...The Weather Channel is now live on YTTV. There are a few other new offerings in there as well. If you customize your lineup then you need to go in and click on these channels in order to add them to the guide.

Thank you! I was searching around for the Weather Channel during the December storms and was surprised how few streaming options there were for the Weather Channel. I think at the time Fubo TV was the only one so I got a 10 day free trial.

thats one thing i've found a little annoying with YTTV.. they don't seem to let you know when new channels are available unless you go look at your guide on the web..

maybe they send emails and I miss them but I usually look at the ones they send.

Yeah...I find that odd as well. Not sure why they wouldn't scream that a channel/channels were added?

The emails telling you about the great channels they're adding come about a week before the emails telling about the latest rate hike.

Haven't had a rate hike since Ive been a customer.. about 2 years.

Last one was in mid 2020, so I guess it has been a bit. That one was a 30% jump. It's just frustrating because YTTV started as a cheaper option because they didn't include all the fluff channels that cable did. Now it's just the same that they're trying to satisfy everyone's watching habits instead of sticking to smaller demographics.

Do people really need a 24/7 weather channel. Just subscribe to a local TV station App or heck just go to a weather website if you want to know what's going on outside.

Just once I'd like to see a streaming service announce.

People have no interest in 100 Channel Linear streaming networks. We are going with a core of 20 channels which are the most popular and we will have other subject area packages available for an additional fee. Our base package will be $30/month.

I guess Sling is pretty close.

I was so excited when streaming started that we would see ala carte pricing for streaming platforms. Nope they just followed cables lead after a couple years. Main reason I drop streaming platforms once football/hoops seasons are done.
