By the way, every time I go to church with my in-laws their priest talks about how "God's team" did from the pulpit. This is in Iowa, not Indiana, by the way.

This is just crazy because everyone knows God's team plays in Cowboy Stadium.

I don't think there would be lawsuits with mizzou. The threat was dangled with a&m because it looked like the conference was going to implode. I don't think that will be the case with mizzou.

I doubt Slive waiting for that, my guess he is trying to twist arms to get the necessary votes. If the votes were there, they would take them now.

I don't understand the hard on everyone has for Notre Dame. It is 2011, not 1970. They aren't that big of an addition to a conference anymore.

They may have been irrelevant on the field (or court) for several years but they are not irrelevant in TV viewers, prestige, or marketability. And if you haven't been paying attention, those things are really all that seem to matter in this whole thing.

Big 12 needs to go after Louisville and West Virginia for all sports and add Notre Dame for all non-football sports. Notre Dame to the Big 12 would be huge for stability even if it doesn't include football.

BINGO! Letting Notre Dame join the Big XII in all sports except football is stupid. It will set a precedent for Texas and even OU to do the same thing and kneecap the conferences football TV football contracts. I'm on board with Notre Dame plus football. Notre Dame - football is revenue suicide.

Let me throw out this hypothetical:

Mizzou stays and West Virginia/Louisville joins as #11 in the B12.

Would you rather have #12 be the other one of WV/Louisville, or would you take #12 as BYU as a football only member with Notre Dame fielding everyone but football?

Agreed. Join as an equal member or dont join at all. We dont need another arrogant school in this conference. I'll accept the no play on sundays thing. But other than that, no conditions. Either you want to be part of a BCS conference, or you can stay out and have fun getting anyone to schedule you.
