Sorry I think Ive got it under control now. After a calm day yesterday this was almost overload.

So tomorrow calm or calm till Friday or not calm at all.

Any over under?
 
Seems to be some strong sentiment now that OU and OSU at a minimum are ultimately gone to the PAC, that these demands of the Big 12 are just a red herring so that they can plausibly say they made an effort to stay in the Big 12, but Texas wouldn't back down. And that the Mizzou to SEC thing is for real.

If so, I'd be pretty furious. Deaton is supposed to be the guy working to save this thing.

Here's the thing about MU fans on Tigerboard:

When I was in college at ISU, my fiancee was friends with a girl who had been dating her high school boyfriend for six years, talked about how great their relationship was and how meaningful it would be when they were both finally graduated from college and could get married so that they could be together forever.

Her boyfriend, for whatever reason, dumped her just prior to graduation.

She was married to a different guy--who treated her like crap, by the way--less than a year later. That didn't work out either, in the end.

When the one she really wanted rejected her, she settled for the first guy to come along who paid her any attention at all, even though they were a horrible match.

Tiger fans are just like that.

Depends on who you talk to and what their bias is. Some people had an opinion of how something was going to happen and when there is a change, they rationalize it and try to find a reason why their opinion is still going to happen.

In reality, most people don't have any idea what the final result will be.

As for Mizzou, sentiment among sportswriters is that the Mizzou is indeed a serious possibility to the SEC but the SEC wants to keep this stuff under the table. That said, Pete Thamel said Deaton is working hard to keep the Big 12 together.

Who the hell knows.

Instead of posting about you could click through to his profile. He covers OU. Whether he's right or credible, I don't know, but he's not just some guy on the couch spouting off.
