My 2 cents: OU really isn't doing anything other than building up their case to get some more moolah from Tejas. The pac12 rumors are nothing but smoke and mirrors. I live in Oklahoma. No one here wants to drive to cali or oregon on a regular basis. 3/4 of the people here wish that the big earthquake would happen so that we can disown cali as a state.

Why is Beebe going around from school to school? Is it to tell us we are boned or is it to tell us how to save the league? Is it a goodbye tour? What's the thought out there?
 
RebeccaCY has just as good a shot as anyone in this thread to be "Right", my only criticism is that if I truly was rubbing elbows with the "In the Know" and the "In the know crowd" wasn't talking, then I would like my seat at the table and not talk either...that said, I do think a possible outcome is that this will go down as a blinking contest of all blinking contest's between OU and Texas, Texas appears to be blinking - ACC? Really?? Texas A&M in the SEC and Texas in the ACC? That seems like A&M wins in terms of long term prestige and attaction of the best recruits.

Texas uses a Message Board to float its threats, OU uses the President of their university on the record which wreaks utter havoc. If it does come together, I suspect the whole issue was any conference expansion target wanted assurances, OU wasn't wanting to give those with an unequal playing field with texas, texas wasn't willing to budge and the blinking contest began.

He just needs a few more segments on American Airlines to make Executive Platinum for next year. He may not make it next year.

Dear God! If those mentally "handicapped" posters on Shaggybevo or Orangebloods are the "test market" for awesome TU ideas - we are all truly f'd.
