Do we really have to single out players like this??? Come on. These are 20-year-olds, most of whom made the biggest decision of their lives based on what Rhoads and the other coaches told them. Now those coaches are gone. Obviously they're going to be emotional. Let's not single them out or attack them for it.

Not talking blasting the kids but for ****** sake it's not like twitter is the private way to share personal thoughts....it's there to get reactions. Yep. If you don't want to get talked about, then don't tweet anything about it. You are not forced to comment to the world how you feel about Rhoads being let go.

Agreed, they are grown adults, getting a free college tuition at that. They put something out to the world then they are expecting a reaction

No, I don't recall any really.

It unified the team. They felt like Chizik made all kind of promises to the players, told them he was "firmly entrenched" (that's where it came from), and then one afternoon gathered the team together and basically said, "well, bye." Probably why Rhoads' first several years were as good as they were - players felt like they had something to prove.

No kidding. They have every right to be disappointed and to express that. They know Rhoads a hell of a lot better than we do, they have much more riding on Iowa STate football than we do.

The right decision was made, but only an idiot wouldn't understand that some players might feel bad about what happened.

There have to be players who are mad as H about the end of Toledo and K State. They play video game football enough to know the basics of end of game management. They know they could easily be 5-6 and playing for a bowl against WVU.

Basketball is differnet. One player can make a team. In football everyone knows you win or lose as a team. Lazard, warren, and lanning know they have a great trio who have worked well together. Why leave to be 1/22 of a team?
