Its what always makes me laugh when people talk about changing something that works and then they inevitably suggest something like that that has zero chance ever of happening. We arent having an intro composed of screaming metal at a basketball\football game. We arent having slipknot as our intro. Lets just get those out of the way right now.

What song? Check with President Leath, he micromanages basketball and will stick his nose in that too. We can get another coach, other players etc. but we will not be above 500 in conference if he remains. Disagree? Think about the Palo situation. He stuck his nose in, was wrong, destroyed a young mans life and will make ISU lose in court.

If you actually analyze the lyrics and think about the offseason coupled with the speculation of the upcoming year:
It's My Life by Bon Jovi would be flppin awesome.

Seriously, we'd all be running through brick walls before tipoff. Not to mention it would be a nice little message to all the naysayers telling them. He gone, it's my turn and it starts now.

I've always thought the first few minutes of this song would make a great "hit tape" song. Starts with windy Cyclone sound and builds to ominous bass and drum line. Don't know about Prom intro...but a video on the bigscreen showing accolades and videos from last years team in black and white (possibly slow motion) as well as crowd shots from key moments would be great. When the beat doubles up (2:25 mark) switch to color and show some of the more impressive wins/moments. It is also a slow enough song to cut in commentary like "here they come, Brent" or "mercy" or "down 12 in this building..." by Fracillia, Musburger,etc. Do this in between visitor and Cyclone introductions. I'm the least tech savvy person you know or I would give it a shot.
