Chuck Klosterman's latest NF, "But What If We're Wrong?" has been released. Anyone else on CF planning to consume it?

As I'm wont to do, I placed an advance order, so I can begin reading it "post-haste." (That is, "starting tomorrow.")

Count me in. Love Klosterman & I wish he would write another novel. Downtown Owl is one of my favorite books. I thought The Visible Man was good but the ending seemed a little thrown together to me.

Didn't know that this was coming out. I'm a very avid Klosterman fan. I've read "Killing Yourself to Live", "Fargo Rock City" and "Eating the Dinosaur" many times. "Downtown Owl" was the last novel I read.

I'll definitely be ordering this tonight.

I really enjoyed Downtown Owl, but the ending was a little disappointing, if only because it strikes me as scientifically unrealistic.

I still haven't read any of his fiction in entirety ... I've read bits of "Owl" and liked it, but never returned to it. Despite the conclusion, you still recommend it? Do you tend to prefer his fiction to his non-fiction?

Also intended to read "The Visible Man" ... I typically consume far less fiction vs. NF in recent years, in general, but I still should make a goal to finish at least one of those in the near future.

I'm about 15% into "But What If..." ... promising to this point.

I still resample parts of "Dinosaur" now & again. I liked several sections of his previous NF work, "I Wear the Black Hat," its central theme worked better in some chapters than others.

"FRC" set the template and still holds up despite a (relatively) dated focus. First one I read was "Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs," which I re-read a couple years ago and somewhat to my surprise, it didn't seem to age as well as I thought it would.
