The Hangover

Brilliant movie. I don't see how someone with a normal sense of humor would not fully enjoy it. I may even go see it again and that is something I've done with maybe two movies in my life.

Do yourself a favor and make it out to see this one!

Freakin hilarious. Jam packed theatre for the 7:45 in Ames last night.

Now I really want to see it. We're going to try and get a babysitter and go tonight. I can't even remember the last movie the hub and I saw in the theater together.

I really didn't think the trailers made it look good. I figured it was going to be pretty boring based on what I had seen leading up to last night.

But this movie ended up being one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Sure, the male nudity wasn't my cup o tea, but everything else was stellar.

Not quite my thing either, but I thought the "jock strap readjustment" scene at the beginning was hilarious. I think that actually set the tone for me for the whole movie.

That was some funny ****. When Zach Galifianakis was doing the speech on the roof I about lost it.

Hilarious movie, went to it Friday night. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say "Most Hilarious" or "Greatest" movie I've ever seen, but I'll wait for that until it comes out on DVD and see how many times I watch it and how funny it stays. That's usually a better measuring stick.

Exactly. A lot of people rush to proclaim a movie as the best or funniest they've ever seen after seeing it the first time in theatres. I really think this one will hold up though.

The only really noticeable part of male nudity is at the very end. Not that bad. Nothing like Walk Hard.

As far as the movie itself goes, INSTANT CLASSIC. I was so worried that it was going to fail to meet expectations, but it exceeded them. Galifinakis's character just blew me away. I was expecting a reprisal of Luke from Out Cold, but I couldn't have seen this coming from a mile away. Imo, that's the kind of thing that makes for great comedy. It would have been really easy to just write him in as head party animal/regular dude but they take him in a totally different direction. Unreal.

I agree. I was actually purposely missing previews, so as to not ruin it. And I was a little concerned that I was setting myself up for a let down. But, I was not disappointed at all! In fact, I had golfed all day, and had been drinking pretty much all day before seeing it Friday. So, I don't remember many quotes. I just remember l was laughing hysterically the entire time. The pictures at the end almost killed me...

I decided it was the best movie I've seen in the theater since Superbad. And I LOVED Superbad. I am going to go to the Hangover again on Tuesday, to see if it has staying power...

As of right now I'd say its up there with Borat, Superbad, and Old School as my favorite comedies. I will see it again soon too.
