The Fran fade

Let me guess miraculously comes off the bench next week before sitting for a month to heal the ankle.

Whatever.

I'm actually kind of impressed with Iowa tonight. I didn't watch any of it but checked the score every now and then on my phone. Noticed they were down 10-15 points much of the game but kept fighting and had a shot at the end. All this without their best player. Maybe it was a little premature to sleep on this Iowa team. Guys that I thought were trash put up some good numbers for them. Specifically ogundele and the lesser of the Murray's

Connor McCaffery is horrible. How does he average 17 min a game with the stats he is putting up this year?

The newer Big Ten format of more conference games and starting conference play in early December was supposed to help Fran out with the “fade”; however, Fran has rejected this opportunity to rest for the Super Bowl.

Completely different team than last couple but we have a lot more athleticism which is why the drop hasn't been so significant. We've also only played 2 Power5 teams so far

Expectations are low for the hoks this year. If Francis does well this year, Barta will offer him a lifetime contract. Hope that those cheating MoFo refs don't screw it up.

Would rather face the whole team...these early teams are critical to ISU being up to snuff when the conference games start. Both Creighton tonight and Iowa later in the week are great for pushing the guys to get better.
