The gaps in NBA drug testing
The director general of the World Anti-Doping Agency, David Howman, recently singled out the NBA for “gaps” in its anti-doping testing program.
I found the article I remembered - there were a slew of them at the time. I thought it was a bit more recent. That is my fault. However, besides no longer testing for marijuana, it is my understanding that the policy has not substantively changed.
Perhaps I should have gone with: for years, the NBA drug-testing policy was considered incredibly lax in comparison to other sports.
