Yeah, I started that thread. Figured it was time to have a discussion with my brethren.
Yes, an ISU fan was barhopping in Iowa City in late May, sought out JorBo and knocked him out for the sole purpose of coming to this website to brag about it. Maybe, just maybe, JorBo ran his mouth to the wrong person at the wrong time and got a reminder of why it's smart sometimes to keep your mouth shut.
Most Hawk fans I know are 1- not surprised this happened and 2 - without knowing anything about the situation assumed he probably had it coming to him.
And makes an asinine assumption that since the video was posted here, the person who knocked out JorBo was a Cyclone fan
The couple I talked to about it said the same thing. Made jokes about it to not talk about it much and just said they aren't surprised, at all. One of them who has interacted with Jorbo on multiple occassions said its really a marvel that he hasn't gotten punched more often, he's not likeable at all in person.
