For all I know, they've tried. Maybe our fan base doesn't have enough creepy trolls/needy weirdos to sustain something like that on another fan site.

Yikes....they lost to Oregon State and California and only got to the Pac 12 Championship because of Covid. If that's not deserving of an asterisk, I'm not sure what is.

I thought the whole CFB was supposed to have an asterisk behind it. I do remember seeing a couple of hawk sites where hawk fans were calling for this for Iowa.
Just saying....if that is the best win ever, yikes. Beating Oklahoma was a better win IMO. Oregon had 2 bad losses and won their division because Washington had to cancel.
I would say best bowl win. Beating OU in Norman, the OSU night game, Beating Nebby in Lincoln, beating Florida State (yes Seneca was in) are a few games that stick out for me for best wins.
The hawkeyes are still chapped about CMC winning a NY6 way before Kirk could in his career. What was the hawkeye fans saying about their 2015 season? Something like, we can only play who the schedule says we play, they want to have it both ways now.
