Even if Murray gets just a little bit better, he'll be a solid role player for Iowa for 4 years.
Guess we can say the same about you and the thread you started to cleanse your soul.
That’s the key though, getting even a smidge better. Fran hasn’t shown that ability.
He's better than I thought he would be for sure. It will be interesting seeing how some of these guys will be with the POTY and very experienced guards.
I mean, at the time, I really thought Basabe was going to grow to be a really nice player from his freshman year.
A smidge better? Cmon. Guys have improved under Fran, there just haven't been a lot of them. Murray is a nice role player right now and as long as he doesn't get worse, he'll be a viable guy his entire career.
Ehhh I heard his twin isn't that good. He'd still probably work harder than 75% of our roster though lol.
Murray is starter caliber for most teams right now. Probably should be for the Hawks too every game. Playing time has already made him better.
I heard there were some unhappy Iowa fans who believe Murray should be starting over Connor.
He may have, I haven’t much of Iowa’s games so I will take your word; but playing time will only improve you so much. A good coach will develop them into the next level.
There's no point in arguing it because no change will be made, but there is truly no reason Connor is starting at this point.
The minute usage has always been weird. Olaseni started 1 game his entire career and averaged less than 14 minutes. That never made sense to me either.
Fran has always done a terrible job of minutes and playing more guys than he should.
