Just because he is a much better NBA prospect doesn't mean he's a better college player.

Wieskamp, Connor, Fredrick, Toussaint, Patrick and Nunge is a decent group to start with for 21-22.

ISU fans are optimistic for Tre Jackson's future and Toussaint was much better than him last season.

Tre will most likely be coming off the bench his entire career. I like his role of being a 3 point guy for us, as he shot 38% from 3 as a freshman in conference play.

And I'm sorry, that starting 5 is not good.

Also, it's important to point out that although Iowa has had far far more success with putting guys into the NFL compared to Iowa State, Iowa State still has guys who play, who've started, and who have gotten drafted in the NFL, however Iowa has two guys on NBA rosters at the moment who will never play a significant minute in their career, one of them who got picked up only because of the bubble scenario.

It was mostly the last 5 games, in which he averaged 8 points on 8 shots per game, 26% from the floor, and 14% from the 3. He was pretty awful.

Haven't been to the Sweet 16 in 20+ years. Haven't won the conference in 40+ years. If you play defense maybe those things can happen.
