The Fran fade

You think Iowa State should have fired Prohm already?

What's the fascination with a recruit were battling Kentucky and Oregon for? Is that a serious question?

No, god, don't fire him. I hope Prohm stays at ISU a long, long, long time.

Was Moss good because Kansas wanted him and got him as a transfer?

Not sure your firing comment then

If Kentucky and Oregon are looking to use a scholarship on a player for 3-4 years I absolutely want that player. He's big time

Yeah Toppin would be a huge get

I'm not sure who else is out there and where we stand with them
Justin Kier from George Mason looks to be a decent prospect. Decent shooter, good length and could contribute right away. I would think they would take a look at him.

If Prohm doesn't make the tournament next year should he be fired?
My personal opinion is maybe. We have a great recruiting class and if we start slow and really improve throughout the year and are competitive, then I say no. But there has to be hope. Another year like this year, then yes it's time to move on.

I don't want ISU to fire Prohm. If I were an ISU fan, yeah, I'd want him gone now. He has totally destroyed what Fred built. He inherited Transfer U, and has turned it it McDermott style Transfer U (exit only). Fred on the other hand this spring has added players from Wisconsin, WVU, TCU, and Pitt. Plus a guy who actually played well at a smaller school averaging like 16 PPG there.

I mean you lectured me months ago that Fred sucked, and wouldn't be able to get transfers. Yet he is running rings around Steve in the transfer market.

Prohm won a major conference tournament title and earned a 6 seed a year ago, two things your coach has never accomplished and hes in his 60s. I'm not a Prohm supporter but this is dumb, especially the McDermott transfer thing

I get being hopeful, but you just aren't looking at the evidence right in front of you. ISU is a shadow of what it was under Fred, and a small shadow at that.

Prohm is 48-50 (18-36 in conference play) over the last 3 years. Hanging your hat on a "Tournament Title" is really dumb. Now the 6 seed was nice, I'll give you that, but it certainly doesn't change the fact that Prohm has completely destroyed Transfer U that Fred built, and that is killing ISU on the court.

Matt A is probably paying those guys.

So basically you're saying we should fire our coach a year after he accomplished more than your coach ever has or ever will?

You should fire a coach that takes over a program that was at it's historical peak (never had ISU made 4 consecutive NCAA tournaments) and was 46-26 in the big12 over those 4 years. Steve has turned that program into a 18-36 big12 team over the last 3 years. That should be fireable at any and every school, it has nothing to do with the fact that this is Steve Prohm we are talking about.

OK now I understand. You're saying we should fire our coach a year after he accomplished more than your coach ever has or ever will

Hold on, you are actually bragging on a conference tournament title? So if that is such a big deal, why would you want him fired 2 years after such an amazing accomplishment? You should hold onto him forever for that one shining moment.

Swing and a miss. I see your time off didn't improve your posting abilities. Yikes
