I honestly thought ISU would make sense for him. He just needs to do whatever is best for himself even if it means not playing at all.

Fran isn't a strong recruiter and I'm not even sure they have a schollie open. Prohm has a lot of scholarships to offer and needs to land a guy like Carton. It is a perfect fit at the present.

Fran has rebuilt Iowa back to a respectable P5 program again from the Lickliter days. Sure he has his faults which include recruiting, but he has done a solid job at Iowa thus far. Prohm took a top 25 program on solid footing and has proceeded to destroy it in a short time despite some really good recruiting.
