The Fran fade

I do love that as our basketball team tanks this board is becoming increasingly intolerant of Twins nonsense. Give up the act man. Channel this energy into something positive.

I honestly picture you waking up, putting on a pot of coffee, cracking your knuckles, and sitting down for an 8 hour Iowa troll fest. It's clinically obsessive.

Twins has about 5-10 posters that back him up no matter what his stupid troll is on here. Outside of those posters I beginning to think no other ISU fans enjoy his crap. I mean how long has he been trolling like this, 7, 8, 9 years? What kind of person could actually talk non stop about its teams rival all day everyday for 7, 8 or 9 years?

"I'm not here to debate whether or not we were a better theam than Iowa last year but I am going to debate why we were better than Iowa last year"

Could have just said that and saved the keyboard strokes.
I'm literally arguing both sides. Lol.. Iowa beat Iowa State by double digits and that's what people are going to focus on, regardless of whether or not one team ends up doing better than the other the rest of the season. Iowa won a game in the tournament and Iowa State did not, so that even helps Iowa's argument even more. However, I was also arguing that one game is not always the deciding factor in who's better, and the results of one NCAA tournament game isn't fair either.

OK. We lost to Iowa by double digits last year but we were still better. What's your point?

You also tried to say a 7-5 ISU football team that lost to Iowa at home was better than a 9-3 Iowa football team. I'll give you some credit for dropping that troll and admitting Iowa was better after they finished 10-3 and ISU 7-6.

It'll be funny a month from now when everyone is like "wow Iowa is reeling you called it Twins"

I get the feeling this thread isn't going how he planned...

Who was better last year #6 seed ISU or #11 Seed Ohio St? Who was better #7 Seed Cincinnati or #10 Seed Iowa?
Does that make Ohio State better than Iowa then, considering Ohio State beat a #6 seed, while Iowa only beat a #7 seed?

Someone asked you in a prior thread to predict which games they will win and lose you and wouldn't do it. You're being purposefully vague so you can troll later on. It's really lame.

Iowa may well drop 2-3 games in a row. They may drop more than that. But they are currently a Top 20 team who has beaten some really good teams over the past two months. That's really the long-and-short of it.

Too many variables in college basketball to say who is better. What I can say without a doubt is Iowa had a better year. Being 1 pt in regulation away from the Sweet 16 is always going to be a better year than getting bounced in the first round of the tournament. Considering both teams were 23-12 and .500 in conference play, how far the teams went in the tournament is for sure the deciding factor.

Not at all. OSU was 20-15 (8-10). Iowa was 23-12 (9-9). OSU got killed by #3 seed Houston in the 2nd round. Iowa was 1 pt in regulation from the sweet 16 and knocking off #2 seed Tennessee.
