With Luka and Joe leaving Fran's final long time plan to run the offense through his boys is now becoming crystal clear.
I could see it. Hoks may only average 45 per game and Patrick should be about a third of their offense.
Tripling his ppg would be something, especially because he shoots like a middle school girl
Unfortunately for Luka I don't think so. Still, nice to be able to say you got drafted.
Joe has a slightly better chance but still an uphill battle as a guy with average athleticism, bad foot speed, and not a good defender. Anything after the 1st round is such a crap shoot and mixed bag. Take ISU guys as exhibit A. Morris, THT, Nader and Niang have all managed to carve out roles in the league. Just when you thought things on Hawks sites could not get any worse. I swear some of these people were dropped on their heads when they were born.
I love to pound on hokfan as much as the next person but I think Luka has earned a shot at NBA and I don't think I would bet against him playing some minutes. Lot of idiots and ******** around him but he has worked his ass off and there isn't enough of that today.
With that said, hanging uni's and praising Fran from all this is absolutely ******* ridiculous. You can chalk this up to 'any port in a storm' and with the anemic performance coming from KF and his team right now, you have to expect that hokfan will salivate over any crumb of good news coming from basketball.

Nope just another head up the rears of the U of I.
Think about it, Iowa gets hammered with 40-50 former players crying discrimination and a week later we literally had a reporter ask about pineapple on pizza because KF was now the leading non-racist in the sport and let his players tweet.
