We had our first post C19 family get together this last weekend and when Cyclone football came up my purplehok relatives started chirping. "Iowa State may start out ranked, but they'll fade at the end" was their first, and last shot. That was because I told them we were not talking about hok basketball and the Fran Fade. Silence.

They haven't followed much Cyclone FB under Campbell, start slow and finish strong is his M.O. I'm not guaranteeing a win against anyone, but I'm sure don't expect us to get blown out against anyone.

I guess I would consider a 45-0 win against KSU, a win at Texas, a 42-6 win against WVU a strong finish to the regular season but maybe that’s just me.

Please tell us if Fran is a strong finisher or not. Pretty sure Iowa Men's BB fan program of the team has a crease in the middle and it says "Fold here in February and March"

So the Big 10 doesn't match level of teams to help draw interest/TV to the game? Actually the BiG office does live in the past so just going off last years teams records so this makes sense.

I'm about as far from an ACC fan as possibly. But Torvick is REALLY down on the ACC in 2021/22. Only 1 team in the top 20. 9 teams above 46. Maybe it's anyones guess in that league this coming year. Especially with changes at Duke and UNC
