Agree, this Illinois team has the potential to be the best team since they got hosed by refs and Ole Roy in 05.

If Garza & Kofi both come back Illinois will destroy Iowa. Final 4 is a pipedream, HoKKKs won't even be in top 4 in the B1G

Why are we pretending like he has better options? He isn’t going to play in the NBA next year so he can return to Iowa then if the season gets cancelled leave and go overseas when ever he wants. There is no deadline for that.

I don't think anyone is seriously. I heard last week he was coming back. I doubt he locked in an overseas deal between then and now

just bc Garza had Iowa do the announcement instead of hiring someone to do it doesn’t mean anything..lol.

Guessing he returns but basing it on Iowa putting out the announcement isn’t really surprising.

Garza isn’t getting drafted in 1st rd this year or next...Therfore there’s not gonna be any guarantee by any NBa teams...

Not sure why this took 5 months.

I dont blame him for waiting this long. It's a crazy world out there and it's a big decision.
Not being drafted aside, it looks like he's worked hard this summer. I just think he needs more defensive work and not as many Frank 35'ers.

Why would Iowa's official Twitter account send that knowing he wouldn't get drafted? You think they put that out for Tyler Cook?

Iowa official twitter didn’t post it initially they did their own post with it..

And Tyler Cook isn’t a POY.. Garza means more to Iowa program than other way around whether he stays or goes it’s good pub for Iowa.

thing that’s kinda odd is he’s having a Q&A after.. Seems little odd answering ?’s on why he’s not ready for nba etc..
