The Fran fade

SMH, was it not obvious I was being tongue in cheek?
You have to remember who you are conversing with.

I think Steve dodge a bullet with Toppin. Toppin averaged 5 PPG at RI, and played less than 20 MPG. That doesn't translate to being a good high major player. I don't care how athletic you are if you can't use your athleticism to average 13-15 PPG in a lower conference you aren't going to do much at a high major school. Kentucky is reaching big time on this one.

He'll be bench depth is all. Playing time at ISU wasn't enough to pull him away.

Yeah, you don't average 5 PPG in the A10, and then suddenly become some super start at a high major school. That is like thinking that Moss was gonna be some monster player just because Kansas needed depth when he transferred.

Moss transfered up a level though and still was decent

The Big10 was better than the Big12 this year, you can't even argue that, it wasn't even close.

The Big 12 has been the best basketball conference like 7 out of the last 8 years. Going from the Big Ten to the Big 12 is transferring up a level

Which conference was better this year? So yeah, Moss transferred down a level to play in the Big12 this year.

Why would they push him out if Fran can just move one of his kids off scholarship?
Fran has that card to play and I'm sure he will if he sees the right chance. I would if i were him. Plus we all just assume that Garza is coming back but who knows for sure.
