Something tells me if the team voted on it, Becht would be the guy.
Wish they would have that attitude when they play Iowa.
They've done trick plays vs. Iowa and lost.
It usually just comes down to a turn over or two. The coaches can have the bestest plan in the world but they can't do much if the players flinch.
Could be an advantage. Tacklers would be avoiding certain angles on him.
The showed him at the beginning and had helmet and everything I thought. 1) maybe we have 2 #13s 2) I am getting older and could be remembering wrong.
I’m surprise that if this is the case they haven’t put the juco in for garbage time
Need Rocco to get as many snaps as possible. Every down matters when a team is as young as we currently are.
Just going to point out. Rocco’s pass protection this year has been FAR better than Hunter got. Matter of fact, it got worse as the year went along.
So it’s hardly a surprise that Rocco is progressing where Hunter didn’t.
Hunter’s many problems were not due to a lack of protection. It wasn’t the primary cause, Hunter made poor decisions. Turned the ball over. Rocco is much better.
I didn’t mean to imply that it was the primary cause. However, it sure as heck didn’t help him settle in.
Rocco has been solid in controlling the offense. Even in the losses, he was not the problem. His receivers are getting better too

Anyone who is somewhat connected to ISU football and knows how Jamie Pollard manages knew CMC was never on the hot seat. If we had another 3 win season this year and next year, that would have been a different story.
