The Coaching Turnaround Has Been Drastic

We didn't seem to have as much success running the ball against Cincinnati compared to the last few games. I think Cincinnati was considered pretty stout against the run so I'm not really worried about it.
They also have a (likely) 1st rounder in the middle of their D line in addition to it being the overall strength of their D, which held OU to 20

Hunter’s many problems were not due to a lack of protection. It wasn’t the primary cause, Hunter made poor decisions. Turned the ball over. Rocco is much better.
Rocco IS better, but he also has 2 pick sixes to his name. Comparing this year to last year, protection is better, running game is better (after Brock got hurt anyway), TE receiving and blocking is better, WR play overall is better. I do like Rocco better as an overall QB. He's less careless with the ball and can move around in the pocket and make plays better. But Dekkers had just about everything possible against him. He had zero support other than Hutchinson. We are not putting the entire offense on Rocco's shoulders like we were Dekkers last year, which is good.

Rocco imo shows trust in his teammates. The last TD pass Saturday was Rocco tossing it up and leaving it for Klotz to go make a play.

He's also much quicker to just get the ball to a space. Even in Dekkers's good games last year he seemed to take lots of time to read the situation.

And the not arguing with teammates and coaches is a huge win.
