I couldnt watch the game as I worked late, so he’s played 5 minutes in last 2 “bye” games. What the **** is point of playing these games if we aren’t going to work out different line ups before conference play. I’m just having a hard time imagine a 5 star, MCD AA can’t even get PT when we’re destroying a ****** team. Bill Self would have slowly contributed at this point….

If he was ready, he would be playing. I will trust the coaches and not the message boards

He's scared of making 1 substitution that might blow a 30 point lead the last 10 minutes is all I got.

Could be he’s sick, or a tactic for him to work more In practice? There’s more to basketball than talent. You also have to be good at playing basketball.

Then the recruiting experts were way off if he's not even capable of playing against talent like Eastern Illinois.

I'm not an expert on 5-stars, mainly becuase we only see 1 every 20 years, but seems he should at least be good enough to see more than 3 minutes against teams like this.

It’s east Illinois… we play Houston in 2.5 weeks. Are we really going to try to working him starting then or is he just not going to contribute? Very rare for a 5 star that’s is healthy to do the latter.

Recruiting experts is an oxymoron. And also, I’ll refer to my original argument. I’ll trust our coaching staff who are around these young men 1 million % more than any Internet forum poster

We won by 45, I guess I don’t see the harm when he suited up. I guess the staff knows more. I just can’t imagine the blow up if he transfers and shines somewhere else.

He won't play any significant minutes this year in Big 12 play unless there is an injury. I think TJ has made that very clear the last 2 weeks and during the Iowa game.

Extremely shallow thinking.

I guarantee TJ is more worried about developing him and building his confidence than what happens to a 30 point lead.

I thought he looked more active in trying to establish position in the short time we saw him. Pretty sure they ran a play where Pav went into the paint intending to lob it up for him, but the lane was crowded and the pass was off anyway.
