This guy was NAILS in on-ball defending. He'll be missed.

Gabe worked hard and made a massive improvement year over year offensively. That shot he hit against TCU is an all timer.

Let's not forget he also started this season coming off the bench and took a good approach at his new role. Wasn't till Kunc got hurt that he really hit his stride and played so well that having him come off the bench was an after thought.

Gabe played his heart out for ISU. He had some highs and some lows, but he never stopped playing defense, and never stopped trying. I feel sorry that there were not a couple more guys that could take some of the pressure for scoring off of him. Once Grill started to struggle/was gone ISU was super easy to defend.

I'm trying to find the most-recent CF thread that ranked ISU transfers. Quick search I found 3, but none have been active since about 2018 -- I know we've had at least one active more recently. Curious to see where everyone ranks Gabe.

Never saw him get mad at a teammate and was hampered lately by every team we faced knew he was our only consistent 3 point shooter.
