Thanks for proving me wrong Big Rob

According to EvanMiya, analytically, Bob is a more impactful to winning games than guys like Max Abmas, KJ Adams and Arthur Kaluma. He’s rated above all three of them.

Amazing to see his growth, and that doesn't even account for his leadership/attitude and off the court efforts.
Rob’s decisiveness on attacking or kicking has gotten very good.

Rob is going to go down as one of my all time favorites. His arc has been incredible. I still remember CW dropping the hint pre-season in TJs first year that they were impressed with BREs effort and he was going to play a bigger role than anyone thought based on his pedigree. I'm not sure there has ever been a player that has maximized his natural ability as much as Rob. He seems like a guy that has a lot of admirable qualities and I am going to really miss him playing ball at ISU when his time is done.

I sure hope on Senior day the fans just blow the roof off Hilton for Rob. That is one culture-building, tone-setting MFer.

TJ might look like Campbell watching Purdy on Senior day fighting back tears.
As a new coach at ISU, it was huge for Otz to bring in a guy like BRE. He bought into the culture Otz was trying to build at ISU, and is an example of what it means to be a Cyclone under this coaching staff.

It’s now to the point that the only time I’m anxious is if he receives the ball at 16-18 ft. Gets caught in what to do. And likewise the break put him in a bad spot where improvisation was needed.

Aside from that he’s incredibly solid.

The kick out assists over the last few games (by Rob and a lesser extent Ward) have been an amazing development.

Larger point to offense in general but seems like over the last few games we’re finally getting some back door looks. That’d not been there the past two years.

Whether it was entry pass, the cutter or offensive flow in general.

That quick swinging weave they pulled Out a few times last night was crispy as well.

This! Having a guy like this improve by sheer will and effort is a driving force, or can be, for more naturally talented players.

To me this is why he got the nod over Osun last year. If Osun is t able to dominate, outwork or out perform Ron in practice why should he get more mins come game time?

TJ’s not blind, a fool, or a man without a plan or intention.

Z**eff makes a lot of observations but his obstinacy on that is crazy off base.

I used to cringe when I saw BRE stand up and get ready to check into the game. Now, I get butterflies.........

ZRF, please edit the thread title, he does not like to be called Bob, and it reads as an insult.

Rob didn't prove you wrong. You've been wrong all along, but finally get it. How long did it take? Might want to seek some help. Now if TJ can learn to coach we'll be in business.

100%, there was a play he had the ball at one elbow took one dribble and fired a perfect anticipation pass to the corner for Gilbert to spot for a 3. It was really impressive

Didn’t show up on highlights because it wasn’t finished but Rob had a great back door pass I think to Keshon as well.

I agree 100%. I got roasted last year for saying Jones has decent post moves and plays good defense. Many people here, not just ZRF were saying mean and nasty things like “he is not a D1 player, he should get zero minute, he should not come back next year” Can you imagine what our record would be without Jones?
