I think The Mayor and the staff need to be given anything they want so as to remain together and employed by ISU. To take a group of players like this year after year and create a team with the potential to go as far as they maybe would have is phenomenal.
I just hope the incoming guys know what heart is, because this year's senior leaders sure had it.

I 100% agree but I hate that when he comes on the video screen at Hilton and says that.
I was really hoping we could make a deep run this year and have everyone see just how good of a shooter Tyrus is. The kid needs some nation pub!
+1 Million. That's the most fun I've had watching Cyclone basketball since the Tinsley days.
Some major heartbreaks this year, but you guys always gave it your all & I'll remember for a long time how much fun I had watching this team.

Seems like a great group of guys. They represented themselves and the university well. Sad though, this group had the ability to go deep, just didn't get the break they needed. Regardless, this group will be remembered a long time and one of my favorites.
Mayor might stay, but the assistants are bound to leave. We need to do what we can to replace them with assistants of high quality.
Just can't say enough about this bunch of seniors. I never lowered my expectations about this bunch and they never let me down. Sure, there were mistakes made along the way, but a better bunch of guys, no one could ever ask for. I can't imagine what it must have been like to be on this team. Great year, hope you all have a great future.
Been a fan since early 80s. This is one of my all time favorite teams to watch!! The tough breaks and close losses don't change anything for me. This was a special team.

I have been an avid Cyclone fan since the mid-1980's and been to every single Big 12 tournament since 1989. This group of seniors was a special group. In part because of their respective accomplishments on the court but also because they were tremendous stewards off the court. For a team of "misfits" there have literally been no "off the court issues" in the last two years under Hoiberg's guidance. All the questions regarding transfers and their attitude never materialize except to show that this bunch has more resiliency then any other team I have ever had the opportunity to watch. To Chris Babb, Anthony Booker, Korie L., Tyrus McGee, Will Clyburn and Austin McBeth I would like to say thank you from Cyclone Nation. Once a Cyclone, always a Cyclone.
I hope these guys are around the program quite a bit in the future years, you could really tell how much Iowa State means to them in the post game interviews. Im not sure I saw that from other teams in the past decade or so.
