In that game, you can't talk about what happened that could have won the game, you talk about how the team battled back, about the emotion that Anthony Booker showed, the guts that Tyrus McGee had, the leadership that Chris Babb had, and the perseverance that Korie Lucious and Will Clyburn have shown throughout this season. The future is bright for Iowa State, and Hoiberg will not be deterred

I truly believe that these guys were the start of something special here at Iowa State. Plus they were a ton of fun to watch.
This is really a team that could have gone all the way. Tough calls and tough shots at the end of key games took them out of it. I hate that I won't get to watch these guys play together again. I wish that they were all coming back.
The guys have given all of us renewed pride in the team! We are going to be watching meaningful games in March and April for years to come!!! Thanks you seniors and Fred!
Great season; I'm really gonna miss these guys. Especially Tyrus - I doubt we'll see a shooter that good again.
Loved watching the team this year, wouldn't trade any of them for any other player in the country. Another good season for the mayor, he has put ISU basketball back on the map and will only continue to do so. Tough breaks at the end of this one, our guys have nothing to be ashamed of, they played like a true team and gave it their all.
Tyrus is downright fearless. Love love love watching him play. This class Is the start of something very special at ISU and they will all be some of my favorite for a very very long time.

I remember back when these guys started to sign here, and all the hope and wonder we had seeing talented player after talented player sign on to be Cyclones.

Loved seeing us go down fighting with McGee slinging them -what a great run during the game. UGH!
I've only been a fan since 2005 when I started at ISU, but this is easily my favorite group of players. I'm sad this was the last time to see them play.
A great group on and off the court. Wish they could have fought thru and achieved greatness to reward their hard work.
A hard fought game and season. Lots of character as there were many times they could have taken the easy route and quit. I'm glad they didn't. They gave us some thrillers.

These seniors have revived ISU basketball in a way that not many thought would be possible. Yes, we have always had fans at the games, but now we have fanatics and for a team that rightly deserves them.
Thank you to all the seniors who have been the start of something great. I hope to see all of them back celebrating the first of many championships (Big 12 or better) won by Fred and the ISU Cyclones!
