I think you put it well. I don't know a lot about Rhoads, but my gut says its ok. If we had hired Fulmer or Stoops I would have had to "adjust" to the bias against them.

How cool and inspiring to have JP in your apartment on a Sunday night. So far there is no talk of players transfering, in large part due to JP.

That is the thing, while JP runs the athletic department as a business, which he should, he thinks of and treats all coaches and players as family. He will not hire any coach who he would not feel comfortable sending his children to play sports for.

I think this is a great hire. Love the experience, and the Iowa roots.
