**** Texas!

If we give Ewers the kind of time we've given opposing QBs for much of the year the defense will get torched.
Realistically I think Heacock needs to get more aggressive (sadly it's not likely) and generate pressure for us to have a realistic chance.
I would assume hes drawing that up as we speak. Texas OL will make it nearly impossible to get pressure with 3

Agreed, he's going to have to bring pressure with 4 more times than not. Having Cooper back in the secondary will help mitigate bringing the extra rusher. Can't just let him sit there and pick us apart.

It sucks because imo college football on the whole is down but these last three weeks including championship week are going to be really intense for figuring out the CFP teams.

Is this the most undefeated teams (5) this late in the season since the CFP started?

Anyway, enough about the games, let's talk about Michigan's scandal that had no glaring effect on their win at PSU.

College football isn't "down" there is just way more parity this year and there isn't a super team.

And what's so stupid about this Harbaugh thing is they are playing Maryland who has been terrible after their hot start to the season. I said it in another thread, but a student at Michigan could coach them to a win this weekend against Maryland.

And as for unbeaten teams that's a damn good question. But if you take all of FBS, you have the following unbeatens still, which I imagine may be the most at this late in the season.

Georgia 10-0
James Madison 10-0
Washington 10-0
Liberty 10-0
Michigan 10-0
Ohio State 10-0
Florida State 10-0

And to take it a step further, look how many one-loss teams there still are too

Tulane 9-1
Louisville 9-1
Texas 9-1
Toledo 9-1
Oregon 9-1
Alabama 9-1

Maryland's "hot start"

Game day should be WA-OrSt but ESPN doesn't have the guts. They want to avoid the collapse they caused.

If we are winning, sometime in the fourth quarter and just for fun, maybe the band could play boomer sooner after we get a first down. And after the game, I put in the request for Sweet Home Alabama or Devil goes down to Georgia, instead of Sweet Caroline.
Blasphemy on post-game suggestion.

If we’re asking for one last epic beat down of Texas, can we at least knock out their top two QBs and get 4 sacks and 3 INTs from the anointed A*** Manning?

I bet on isu +8. The ISU secondary has me a bit nervous but texas has played close games against worse teams.

A big key to winning is stopping Worthy. At halftime he had 10 receptions for 137 yards and Texas had a 26–6 lead. He ended with 10 receptions for 137 yards and TCU lost by 3.

I wonder if M McConaughy travels with the team
**** him also

If Cooper is back it should help.

It's not so much the secondary as it is the inability to create pressure on the QB up front. The DBs are left on islands for a long while pretty often.

That's it. **** em. **** em with a big rubber di###, break it off, and beat em with it....
