Any time UT goes down, it's almost as much fun as watching Ku get beat.

UNI & UT (And A&M) are "family schools", meaning we have graduates from each in our family. However, like I said elsewhere - son (& DIL & granddaughter) trumps sister, so I wore purple socks yesterday. They also trump BIL & father, so I'll be wearing my purple socks tomorrow as well.

I will cheer for UNI as long as I don't have to listen to Gary Rima. We were driving home last night when UNI was on fire in the first half. I had to turn it off cause the guy is just annoying with his gimmick phrases every time they make a three.

Speaking of homers, who is the cranky old white dude that does the ISU games? He's been there awhile. Looks like a mad stork most of the time. I remember Gary's days.

Indiana does, too (Indiana, Butler and ND).

Yeah but they had a team lose in the round of 64 (Purdue), so Iowa can at least have a claim as the only state to go 3-0 in the first round.

Since UNI rises to their level of competition, they have a shot at the Aggies. I'd like to see them pull it off.

I have the Panthers beating A&M in my brackets so I'd love to see this but evidently the Aggies dominated in their first game.
