The reason Texas to the ACC makes sense is because ESPN has all right to TV over ACC games so the LHN wouldn't be a problem for Texas in a move to another conference. I also read somewhere that The ACC would be willing to go to a pod system of 4 divison to help with travel. Also Texas apparently doesn't like the time zone differences that they would be forced to deal with in a move to the Pac 12 and in the ACC all other teams at this point are in the Eastern time zone
