Texas has no chance

The loss of Wangmene makes them thin in the post. If Royce takes it through Chapman, draws fouls, and Babb controls Brown, I'll agree with Cydkar. If we don't do those things, yeah - we'll be playing with fire. Couple "ifs" though.

Kenpom is a ratings system from a computer. It doesn't "predict" anything, it just gives probabilities.

Either one works for me. OSU is hurting and it is very hard to beat a team 3 times in a year (hence why most of us didn't want to play KSU in round 1).

They peed both Mizzou games down their leg and I doubt the players are going to want that feeling again. Frankly, I like the chances against Mizzou.

Are you talking about Okie St? They beat Mizzou on their home floor earlier this year...

Not sure if I would go as far as to say Texas has no chance. Some are calling this a "must-win" for the Longhorns to make the NCAA Tournament. Rick Barnes will have that team ready to play.

I generally agree with this and the thought that it is scary to play Texas when they are playing for their NCAA lives, but they have been playing for their NCAA lives for the past 3 weeks and are 3-3 in that time (2 wins over OU and 1 over Tech and losses to OKSt, Baylor, and Kansas).

Texas has nothing to lose... that scares the crap out of me... we will get TXs best game. Period.

We don't have a lot to gain, sure we may go up a seed for the dance... but we are in.. WE ARE IN.

This will be CFH biggest coaching challenge..... preparing a game against a cat that is backed into a corner.

Babb will be on a mission and will shut Brown down. Game over. On to Mizzou.

I'll say it again. Texas has no chance.

Texas has no chance.

Famous last words.

I don't think the Cyclones should be terribly worried about the injury depleted horns, but to say a Big 12 team has no chance is a little shaky. I sure hope the 'Clones don't subscribe to your bravado.

What are you talking about? They have everything to lose.

No, I was talking about OSU and Mizzou but I wasn't that clear.

OSU doesn't have Nash who killed us in Stillwater. Mizzou already beat us twice and will be very tough to get us 3 times.

I won't say that Texas has no chance, but I think we will be the ones determining if Texas wins or not. If we come out playing like we have the past few weeks I think we win. Got to remember that Texas has player out or unsure because of injuries right now.

His computer also thought that Wisconsin was the #2 team in the country prior to conference play.

He had quite a lengthy article on why his computer was wrong, but he couldn't scrap everything else just because of Wisconsin.

Would we rather play KSU or Texas in the first round. I think the consensus is UT. When we got beat in Austin we had one of the worst offensive performances this year and still had a shot at pulling out a win. I agree, if we play well we will beat them.

This. Plus, not shooting 33% for the game like in Austin. We couldn't sink jack in that game and still only lost by 7 on the road.

I get nervous any time Cyclone fans start completely discounting a loss. I can't help it.
